THE EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS
As well as being selected as one of the top 3 finalists in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in 2009, these award winning photographers have garnered themselves the Award for Artistic Excellence from Melbourne Leather Pride 2009, and are 3 time winners of the prestegious Laird Art Prize. The duo took out the major photography category of the ‘Men on Men’ Art Competition, first in 2003, then again in 2007 and 2008. Brownsdon and De Jonk were invited to participate in the infamous Annual Dirty Show for Erotic Art in Detroit, Michigan in 2008 and 2009 Show in Los Angeles.
Based on the success and notoriety of the Bad Behaviour calendars and their previous work, Sydney Mardi Gras commissioned the photographic duo to bring their “Game On” campaign to life, creating the sizzling images for one of their international, premier events, the 2009 SleazeBall Party.
The finished campaign material received high acclaim and praise as well as an enthusiastic response in ticket sales for the Party. (See Media)
